Submission Guideline

The Scientific Program Committee invites you to submit abstracts for oral/poster presentations at APFP 2020.

Submission Period

Submission deadline: From October 21, 2019 to 23:59 p.m. December 31, 2019 (Taiwan time/ GMT +8).

General Guidelines for Submission

  • Abstracts must be original and must not be or have been published or presented at any other meeting prior to 14th Asia Pacific Federation of Pharmacologists (APFP 2020).
  • Abstracts must be submitted via our online Abstract Submission website.
  • The first author must present his/her research work.
  • Abstracts must be submitted via the congress website.
  • Notification of abstract acceptance will be sent to the first author no later than January 31, 2020.
  • The first author must complete online registration to post in the congress.
  • The Scientific Program Committee reserves the right to reject any abstract when it considers not to be appropriate in relation to the congress criteria.

Abstracts Format

  • All abstracts must be submitted and presented in English.
  • Font, text size and spacing:
    Text must be in English, in Times New Roman font, with a text size of 12 points.
    Spacing: Line spacing should be set to at least 12 points.
  • The first letter of each major word in a title must be capitalized.
  • All abstracts must contain the following information: Introduction, Materials & Methods, Results and Conclusion.
  • Abstracts should be no more than 400 words. Tables or figures are not allowed.
  • File format: All submissions should be saved in Microsoft Word format (Word 2007 or later) and sent as an attachment.

Poster Presentations Format

  • Abstracts accepted must be printed by author in advance.
  • Format of height: 120cm and width: 90cm.
  • Posters must be posted for display by the indicated time and place in the acceptance letter.
  • The Conference organizers will mark the Paper Number on each board; authors are asked to make sure that they post up their presentation poster on the correct board.

Personal Information

Please note that registered personal information will not be used for purposes other than for the management and preparations for the APFP 2020. Accepted personal information will also be controlled with necessary security measures.
